How did I came to Poker is a short story, a televised event got me in. I think it was a WSOP coverage, I watched the full show didn’t understand a word at the beginning but thought that’s really cool I also want to do that. That’s where the poker fever got me. After seeing the Poker commercials over and over again I just had to go online and try my luck. I joined Party Poker started playing 1-2hours on the playmoney tables. I won there so much that I was sure that I have what it takes to play with real money…. What a big mistake. I cashed in 50$ joined a table and poof my money was gone. I was so disappointed but I had learned my first important lesson: playing with 50$ and zero experience at 1/2$ tables is worse then flushing money down the toilet. Result: I closed my Party Poker account in anger 
After this first downer I decided to do some read-up about Texas Holdem on the Internet and found Poker Strategy. They offered free money and a poker education to all there members. The free money where just 5$ on Poker Stars and you had to pass a test for it. if you managed to make 20$ out of 5$ they offered you another 75$ for free. So I joined there and learned my first real Poker lessons. Starting hands, Bankroll management, Odds and Outs… I passed the test and received my 5$ to start at the 2/4cent limits on Pokerstars…
The rest is a short story, I made 40$ out of the 5$, then I took a 2month poker break due to reallife. As I returned Poker Strategy offered a 50$+100$ bonus to everyone that switches from Pokerstars to Party Poker. I opened a new PP account, transferred my money over and got 90$ in my pocket. I played the 25/50cent limits for ages had my first heavy downsings, back to 50$, but in the end I got up to the 2/4$ limits…
Today I am still playing at Party Poker and enjoying it. Recently I started to build up 2 new bankrolls from scratch. A No Limit bankroll at Pokerstars and a Sit and Go Bankroll at Full Tilt Poker. You will for sure read more from me and my efforts in this blog
